Local Legend
According to local legend, Generals (Monty) Montgomery and (Ike) Eisenhower discussed Operation Torch (the invasion of North Africa in WWII) at this very window. It offered a commanding view of the Bay of Gibraltar, where the invasion fleet would have assembled. Both were certainly in Gibraltar at that time.
